Lovely account of a sister among brothers. I agree with your brother that they are overrated, and I do wish I had, had a sister of one which you speak, said from the not so great experience of having a sister. I always wanted a brother....well maybe not after your account. Perhaps this is why Little Women speaks so to your soul.
As an only child I have thought about it myself but came to the conclusion it was the same as when I wanted to go to boarding school having read Mallory Towers. I wouldn’t have lasted a night. A sister means something different to me. Someone I value in my life, like, love, respect and laugh with. Sister. X
Didn't we have different experiences, June? I still remember the first weekend I ever spent alone with my parents - I went to visit the family home and for some reason it was just me and them. I was well into my twenties and had no idea of what to say to them! Happy to have another soul sister in my life xx
You would have been a top notch big or little sister. You are one to many of us. ❤️
Well, thank you, Patricia, you're a pretty darned good surrogate sister yourself! See you soon ... xx

Oh, Karen, you don't know the half of it!
